Engagment Session at Mater Dolorosa

A couple of days ago I met with Dana and Greg to shoot their engagement session in Sierra Madre. Their chosen place to do the session surprised me in a very good way since I live in the area but didn’t even know about it… truly a hidden gem. We spent a couple of hours walking the different gardens and capturing the amazing chemistry these two have with each other.

Hace unos días me encontré con Dana y Greg para realizar su sesión de compromiso en Sierra Madre. El lugar elegido por ellos me sorprendió agradablemente ya que viviendo yo por esa zona nunca antes había estado allí y la verdad es que es espectacular. Se trata de unas instalaciones donde se realizan retiros espirituales ubicado al pié de las montañas de San Gabriel donde pasamos un par de horas recorriendo los diferentes jardines y capturando la extraordinaria química que existe entre ellos.

Before their wedding I spent a couple of hours with Cynthia and Luis in different parts of LA shooting their engagement session. After seeing their wedding album they asked me to also produce an album with their engagment photos and here’s the first draft.

Downtown LA Engagement Session

On Sunday afternoon I got together with Vitria & Raymond in Downtown LA to shoot their engagement photos. I love to shoot in downtown areas because the photo ops are endless.
I’m very excited about shooting their wedding later this year at the Turnip Rose Promenade and Gardens in Costa Mesa.
Here are a few of my favorites…

El domingo por la tarde me reuní con Vitria y Raymond en el centro de Los Angeles para hacer sus fotos de compromiso. Me encanta tomar fotos en los alrededores del downtown porque las oportunidades son infinitas.
Estoy muy contento de poder fotografiar su boda a finales de este año en el Turnip Rose Promenade and Gardens de Costa Mesa.

Los Angeles Engagement – Cynthia & Luis

A few days ago I shot Cynthia and Luis’ engagement session in Venice Beach, Marina del Rey, Culver City and downtown LA. I always suggest couples not to choose a location for their engagement session just because it’s pretty but because it means something to them… Cynthia and Luis chose wisely.

Just came back from classy San Diego where I shot Stephanie and Rolyn engagement photos, can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the OC in June.

Laura & Marcos: Engagement Session in Sevilla, Spain

Marcos was one of the attendees to a workshop I taught in Madrid, Spain last November and we began talking about me shooting his wedding back then… as you can see we made it happen. I spent 10 days in Spain not only shooting Laura & Marcos’ wedding but also traveling. Marcos was extremely kind and treated me to a wonderful adventure. He loves traveling and he thought it was a good idea to do some tourism prior to the wedding so we crossed to Africa and visited a bunch of amazing cities but of course I’ll be posting pictures of that later. The great trip ended in Sevilla two days before the wedding where we shot this quick engagement session in the streets of this amazing city.
Antonio Garcia (AG Fotógrafo), his awesome girlfriend Yolanda and Juan Carlos were also part of the road trip, one that I’ll never forget.
