I love to shoot in L.A. and Saturday was a great day for that. Started early in the day at the classy Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles where Lisette and Steven were getting ready with their respective families and bridal party. We spent some time shooting both sides separately around the amazing property and then we traveled northeast to another major LA landmark, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, where both the ceremony and reception took place.
How about some old school selective coloring?
I’ve never done this before but I thought this was a good image to try it…
Breaking the rules…
Right after the ceremony we rushed back to the heart of downtown Los Angeles again to grab a few shots with just Lisette and Steven. They wanted pictures at the Disney Concert Hall and with the L.A. skyline in the background so we walked up and down the streets and up and down buildings and parking structures and here’s just a taste of what we got.
My buddy Miguel Mayo watched my back as a 2nd photographer this time. Thanks Miguel!
