Last Saturday I shot for the first time at one of my new favorite venues, the Boddy House at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. I spent a lot of time in the area but for some reason I’d never been to the Descanso Gardens.
In 2007, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts chose the Boddy House to be transformed into its 43rd annual Pasadena Showcase House of Design. Working with Showcase volunteers, interior and exterior design firms completely rehabilitated and restored the Boddy House, bringing it back to life in a contemporary re-interpretation of its original Hollywood Regency style.
MaryJane and Erick had their ceremony on the lawn area followed by a very cozy reception at the terrace.
I went into the 23 rooms of the mini-mansion until I found the right pink wall for the shoe shot… this was my face when I saw the wallpaper![]()

Scene setter… I learned this from my buddy Sergio

THANK YOU MARYJANE AND ERICK FOR HAVING ME!
Special thanks to Lisa Nuttall for a great job coordinating this event!

Shoes and rings – really good details images. I really like how you are willing to go the extra mile to get different/unique angles in your other stuff. Keep up the great work.

Linda, that’s so cool!
Manny… a lot of secluded places @ Descanso
Count me in as a fan with the creative ring shot. I also like how you change the subject focus. Creative! By the way, Descanso Gardens is where Manny and I had our first date some 9 years ago. Awwwwww….
